| I'm not a parent but a VATER survivor if you will call it. I was born December '82 with all symptoms but the R. I too had irritable bowel as a child, and was diagnosed with colitis last summer. Although not the same as Chrones, it is similar in nature. Other then my colitis and some digestion problems growing up, you'll be happy to know I grew up completely normal developmentally, and was even a competative tennis player until 18. If I didnt have a giant scar on my side/back (TE fistula surgery), no one would even know there was something amiss with me at birth. Have hope, I'm living proof. | |

| Heya i have had a baby she is now 7 weeks old
and has been diagnosed with vater syndrome when she was born and now the doctors in the royal childrens hospital in brstol are refuseing treatment may i ask where you had your treatment ? so i could ask hem wether they would be able to do something for my little girl.

|  Hi my name is Julianna and I have twin boys who just turned 5 in april. Angel is the first born of the two and also the one with all of abnormalities. We live in California, USA, and his first surgery was at 10days old in Children's Hospital in Oakland. He has had 14 surgeries since then, but is the happiest, loving little boy I have ever met in my life.
I would like to talk to you more about your little girl and the things she has wrong so that I may give you, or at least try to help you in any way I can.
You may feel like: well honestly, there is no way to express how you feel because there are no words, but I know how you feel.
