In Loving memory of Jennie

Author: Arlene "Zoe's Mom" Date: 2007-08-07 | As many of our board readers know, on August 5th 2007. Jennie "Brianna's Mom" passed away due to Pulmonary embolus. Our thoughts, and prayers, are with Brianna and her family. As I sit waiting Zoe's 26th surgery. I can not help but think of Jennie, and Brianna. It was nearly 10 years ago that I had Zoe.
Then she was diagnosed with VATERS Syndrome. So if you don't know you do know I'm a computer nerd. i went looking for any information I could find on this new word.
What I found was the vaterconnection.org.
And Jennie was one of the mothers, Brianna I think was 4 at the time. All of us so new to the world of this dx not really knowing. What to do where to turn but we all had each other.
Many formed close bonds, we became a family, of families.
In 2000 Brianna received her VEPTR implants in Texas and eventually Brianna, and Jennie moved to SA to be close to the Doctors.
Jennie, was one of the most caring parents anyone could call a friend. She offered, support and advice to so many of us in our hours of need. It's still had to believe that she had passed so suddenly.
She will be greatly missed on both the thevaterconnetion.com and the veptr.com
For those of you that never truely got to know Jennie. Through the years this board has changed and some of us that were here when Jennie first came our children have gotten older. Some of us frequents boards, with what our children are currently under going.
Jennie was a fixture on the veptr.com. She was always helping new parents who's children were entering the programs, and would go to met families in the hospital if they needed her support. She was the type that you could call in the middle of the night.
She will surely be missed by us all.

Go rest now precious one,
Your life in eternity has just begun..
All of heaven is now in your view.
Look all around,it's all in your sight,
There will never be another dark night.
Flowers and jewels, the street of pure gold, and all of the things that have been told.
I can just imagine the smile on your face as you walk all around in that beautiful place.
Greeting our loved ones as you walk along, while singing heaven's most beautiful song.
This is so very hard, but it will all be okay,it isn't goodbye,we'll see you one day.
We love you and we'll miss you and at times it will be tough, but as with everything,God's grace will be enough.
